I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Yale University and then completed my doctoral degree at Duke University.
I work with children and families from all backgrounds, with a focus on helping people identify their strengths, extend their collection of coping skills, learn strategies for effective communication and self-advocacy, and enhance their ability to manage their mood, thought processes, and ability to tolerate distress. I also help parents figure out how to problem solve around tricky child and teen behaviors. My work hinges on the belief that we all have the ability to learn, grow, and try new strategies throughout our lifetimes.
