Maria Carolina Clark Licsw

Maria Carolina Clark, LICSW was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where she was raised and lived until she was 25. She always had the goal of moving back to the United States after her time as an exchange student in Illinois, and did so in 2005. Since then, Carolina has lived in Western MA where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work, married her husband and started a family.

Carolina has many years of experience working with populations of people from diverse backgrounds and various ages from childhood to adulthood, but has found her passion working with children and families.

She wholeheartedly believes in a transdisciplinary approach where families and health providers work hand in hand as a team to achieve goals of health and wellness. She values rapport and the trust of the people she serves. She strongly believes in the importance of understanding and respecting children's and families' stories.

Carolina is passionate about her work and works to advocate for those she serves. Carolina is also an infant mental health specialist and is also interested in the intersections of recovery and parenting. Ask her about it, she will talk your ears off.

Outside of her office, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to see her family and friends in Brazil, and sleeping (because with 5 children you can never get enough of it!)
